Keith Hope One of our most beloved and respected local performers, this will be one of Keiths last shows in the area before he moves to Bradenton, closer to his home, Wauchula (in Seminole that means home of the Sandhill Crane; he says they call it Buzzards Roost and that gives you an idea of Florida irreverence). A writer of thoughtful and insightful songs, he penned many of them in Nashville. Now Keith turns out his own tunes and performs them at The Florida Folk Festival in White Springs and many other state and national festivals and venues. A fine musician, a true lover and promoter of folk music, he is known and loved for his environmental and Florida stories. His latest CD, Key Biscayne Cowboy is all Florida and Miami and he captures the mood and feel of both, sometimes with nostalgia, some times with tough love, but always right on. |
